报告摘要:Consider the plasma-vacuum interface problem in a horizontally periodic slab impressed by a uniform non-horizontal magnetic field. The lower plasma is governed by the incompressible inviscid and resistive MHD, the upper vacuum is governed by the pre-Maxwell equations, and the effect of surface tension is taken into account on the free interface. The global well-posedness of the problem, supplemented with physical boundary conditions, around the equilibrium is established. This is a joint work with Professor Zhouping Xin.


报告人简介:王焰金,厦门大学数学科学学院教授、博士生导师。荣获2013年全国百篇优秀博士学位论文奖,2015年福建省自然科学杰出青年基金,2015年福建省高校新世纪优秀人才支持计划,2018年福建省自然科学基金重点项目资助,以及2019年入选国家高层次青年人才。他主要从事流体力学中的非线性偏微分方程的数学理论研究,已在《Advances in Mathematics, Archive for Rational Mechanics and Analysis》,《Communications in Mathematical Physics》,《Journal de Mathématiques Pures et Appliquées》,《Communications in Partial Differential Equations》,《Annales de l’ Institut Henri Poincaré, Analyse Non Linéaire》,《SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis》等国际著名SCI数学期刊上发表论文近40余篇。
